Overview FAQ

This article answers common questions about the Overview page, including missing metrics, AI Summary availability, and reporting periods.

Why can’t I see the Goals metric?

Goal metrics are available only after an MMP has been connected and at least one Goal has been created for the selected app. If these requirements are already met, make sure you’ve selected a Goal from the Goal dropdown to display goal-related metrics across the Overview page.

Why do I only see Apple Ads metrics?

Your account may not have an MMP integration yet, or the integration may not be fully completed. Once your MMP is integrated and reporting events, goal-related metrics become available.

Why isn’t an AI Summary available?

AI Summary requires AI Consent to be turned on for your account. If you’re an Account Admin, you can turn on AI Consent directly from the AI Summary widget or from Settings > User Details. If you’re not an Account Admin, contact your account administrator.

Why do some Optimization widgets show a message instead of metrics?

The corresponding optimization tool may not have any configured or active items yet. To get started, click the action button within the relevant widget to open that tool and create your first configuration.

Why don’t Top Spender Campaigns and Keywords show all of my data?

The Overview page is designed to provide a quick snapshot of your account. For a complete analysis, use the Ads Manager links available in each section, which open Ads Manager with your current filters already applied.

My MMP is connected, but I still see “Pending First Event.”

After connecting your MMP, it may take up to 48 hours for the first in-app event to be received. Once the first event is processed, the status updates automatically and you can create your first Goal.

Which date range is used for the metrics?

All performance metrics on the Overview page reflect the date range selected at the top of the page. Some metrics in the Optimization section use predefined reporting periods, such as the last 7 days or yesterday, depending on the metric. To see the reporting period used for a specific metric, hover over its information (ⓘ) icon.
