Data availability after Apple Ads integration
This article explains what data becomes available after you connect your Apple Ads account, how the sync process works, and what to expect in the early stages after integration.
What data becomes available
Once your Apple Ads account is integrated, you can monitor, track, and update the following pre-install metrics directly from MobileAction’s Apple Ads CMP without switching between tools:
- Impressions
- Taps
- Spend
- Installs
How data fetching works
Fetching data from your Apple Ads account takes some time after the initial integration. The system first prioritizes syncing data from the last 30 days, then gradually expands the date range as more data is retrieved.
You will be notified once the last 30 days of data have been fully fetched.
The last 30 days of data should not take more than a few hours to fetch. The total time required to fetch all historical data depends on the size of your account and the structure of your campaign groups in Apple Ads.
Viewing your apps and campaigns
If you are starting Apple Ads from scratch, you need to create at least one campaign in your Apple Ads account for your app and campaigns to appear in MobileAction’s Apple Ads CMP.
If you prefer to complete the integration before setting up your campaigns, you can create a simple test campaign with a very low budget in the native Apple Ads dashboard. Once the integration is complete and your app is visible in MobileAction’s Apple Ads CMP, you can pause the test campaign.
If data does not appear
If you do not see any data after a few hours, try the following steps in order:
- Refresh the page.
- Hard refresh the page using Command + Control + R.
- If the issue persists, contact MobileAction support via live support or your dedicated Customer Success Manager.
