About Promotional Content

Promotional Content is a Google Play Store feature that lets developers promote time-limited activities and updates directly on the store. Promotional Content tool in MobileAction gives you a real-time feed of every promotional event running across any app, so you can study competitor strategies, spot industry trends, and time your own campaigns more effectively.

What Promotional Content shows you

The tool has two tabs. The App Events tab shows live, ended, and available promotional content for a specific app. Available events are approved and scheduled but not yet active, giving you early visibility into what a competitor is about to promote. The Category Events tab broadens the view to show all promotional content detected across an entire Google Play Store category.

Compare up to 9 apps

The App Events tab lets you add up to 9 apps and view their promotional content side by side. Use this to benchmark campaign frequency, event types, and creative approaches across your key competitors at once.
