What tools can I use for paid keyword research in Apple Ads?
Keyword Inspector in ASO Intelligence is built for organic keyword-specific research. For paid keyword research, MobileAction offers several tools, each suited to a different part of the workflow: finding new keywords to bid on, analyzing a keyword's paid competitive landscape, and comparing your paid keyword strategy directly against a competitor's.
Finding new paid keywords to bid on: AI Keyword Planner
AI Keyword Planner, in MobileAction CMP, helps you discover keywords to add to your campaigns. It offers two ways to search:
Discover by App: Select an app and a storefront, and the tool generates keyword recommendations based on that app's context and visibility.
Discover by Keyword: Enter a seed keyword and a storefront to generate related keyword recommendations.
Both flows show you search volume, difficulty, and paid activity for each recommendation, and let you save keywords or add them directly to an ad group.
Analyzing a paid keyword's competitive landscape: Search Result/Keyword
Search Result/Keyword in Search Ads Intelligence is the closest tool to Keyword Inspector on the paid side. Search for any keyword to see which apps are bidding on it, impression share trends over time, and the full list of apps currently running ads for that term.
Comparing your paid keyword strategy against a competitor: Search Result/Competitor
Search Result/Competitor, also in Search Ads Intelligence, is the closest tool to Competitor Keywords for the paid side. Select your app and a competitor to see three keyword segments: keywords only you bid on, keywords you both bid on, and keywords only the competitor bids on.
