Read the comparison metrics
Search Result/Competitor shows headline metrics for both apps at the top of every comparison. Together, they summarize each side’s paid presence in Apple Ads before you dive into the keyword tables below.
The headline metrics
- Active Countries: The number of countries where the app currently runs Apple Ads.
- Visibility Score: A head-to-head visibility score comparing how strongly each app shows in organic ranking relative to the other.
- Apple Ads Visibility Score (VS): The app’s standalone Apple Ads Visibility Score, reflecting how prominent its paid presence is overall.
How to use these metrics together
Read the metrics across both sides to size up the matchup at a glance:
- A higher Apple Ads Visibility Score shows which app is winning more paid visibility in the head-to-head.
- A wide gap in active countries can explain differences in total paid keywords and impression share.
- A high Visibility Score combined with low Apple Ads Visibility Score suggests the app is strong in organic but losing on the Apple Ads side.
