About Search Result/App

Search Result/App is a keyword intelligence tool in Search Ads Intelligence that reveals the full paid keyword strategy for any app on the App Store. Search for any app and load its complete list of keywords bid on through Apple Ads, including impression share, organic rank, search popularity, and which other apps compete on the same terms.

What Search Result/App shows you

Once an app is loaded, the keyword table lists every term that app bids on in the selected country and date range. Each row shows the keyword, whether it is a brand term, the app’s impression share, all competing apps, organic keyword rank, search popularity volume, and total ranked apps. The active countries view shows every market where the app runs Apple Ads alongside its Visibility Score and total paid keywords per region.

Competitor comparison

Add competitor apps using the radio toggles at the top of the page to load their keyword lists into the same view. Switch between competitors to compare their paid keyword coverage against your own and identify where they are bidding that you are not.

When to use Search Result/App

  • Study a competitor’s full Apple Ads keyword strategy and find terms they are bidding on that you have not targeted yet.
  • Check which countries a competitor is active in to understand where they are investing across markets.
  • Filter by impression share to identify keywords where a competitor is capturing the majority of paid impressions and evaluate whether to contest them.
  • Export a competitor’s keyword list to share with your Apple Ads team as a gap analysis or campaign planning input.
