I can't find the Bid Amount column. Is this a bug?
No, this is not a bug. Bid-related columns are not shown by default and are not available at every layer. To see one, add it via the Columns editor on the layer where it already exists. Bid Amount, for example, is a Keywords-layer column and it is a default column that appears when you’re in the Keywords layer.
How to add a bid column
- Open Ads Manager and go to the layer you need (Campaigns, Ad Groups, or Keywords).
- Click Columns above the table.
- Type "bid" in the Search by Metric field to filter to bid-related columns.
- Check the column you want, then click Apply.
Which bid columns exist at each layer
Bid columns differ by layer, so a column you are looking for may only exist at a specific one. Searching "bid" in the Columns editor returns the following:
|
Layer |
Bid-related columns |
|
Campaigns |
Bidding Strategy |
|
Ad Groups |
Bidding Strategy, Default CPT Bid |
|
Keywords |
Suggested Bid Amount, Bid Strength, AI Smart Bidding Settings, AI Smart Bidding Min Bid Limit, AI Smart Bidding Max Bid Limit, Bid Amount, Last Bid Update, Default CPT Bid |
If you cannot find a specific bid column, check that you are on the right layer. Bid Amount lives at the Keywords layer, while Default CPT Bid is available at the Ad Groups and Keywords layers.
