Read the developer metrics
Top Developers displays several detail columns for each developer in the ranking. Together, they tell you how broad a developer’s portfolio is, how diverse its media mix is, and how aggressively it invests in paid creatives.
The developer columns
![]()
- Developer: The publisher or studio behind the apps in the portfolio.
- Apps: The developer’s apps detected running ads, with the most prominent shown as icons in the row.
- Ad Networks: The ad networks the developer’s portfolio runs on, such as Meta, Instagram, Unity Ads, AppLovin, or IronSource.
- Creatives: The total number of unique creatives detected across the developer’s portfolio.
- Impression Score: An aggregate score reflecting the paid impression strength of the developer’s portfolio.
How to read the metrics together
- A high impression score with many apps and creatives points to a developer running a broad, well-resourced paid strategy.
- A high impression score with few apps and creatives often signals a focused developer investing heavily in a small number of titles.
- A wide range of ad networks shows the developer is diversifying media buys rather than concentrating spend on one channel.
