Integrate your MMP with Apple Ads CMP

This article explains how to start the MMP integration process in MobileAction’s Apple Ads Campaign Management Platform and where to find the detailed setup instructions for your specific MMP.

Before you begin

  • You must have at least one Apple Ads account successfully integrated with your MobileAction’s Apple Ads Campaign Management Platform account. See Integrate your Apple Ads account with Apple Ads CMP.
  • You must have an active account with the MMP you want to connect, and the MMP SDK must be integrated into your app with installs and events flowing correctly on the MMP side.

Start the integration

All MMP integrations are initiated from the Attributions section of the Apple Ads CMP.

  1. Log in to MobileAction’s Apple Ads Campaign Management Platform.
  2. Navigate to Attributions in the side menu.
  3. Select the MMP you want to integrate.
  4. Follow the setup instructions for that specific MMP.

The setup process differs slightly depending on which MMP you are connecting. Use the guide that matches your MMP:

What happens after you integrate

Once your integration is complete, the platform begins waiting for your first event to arrive from the MMP. It can take up to 48 hours to receive the first event after the integration. During this waiting period, your integration status will show as Pending First Event.

After the first event is received, your status will update and you will be prompted to create your first goal. Only after you create a goal will your MMP-related metrics appear on the Ads Manager page.

Note: MMPs only provide data once the integration is complete. Data from before your integration date is not visible in the platform unless your historical data is imported manually. See why you cannot see previous attribution data.
