Using Metadata Optimizer to perfect your app’s store listing

Metadata Optimizer makes data‑driven ASO simple. Whether you’re polishing your current title and subtitle or drafting a brand‑new description, the tool shows, instantly, which keywords can push your organic visibility higher.

How to use the Metadata Optimizer

1- When you open Metadata Optimizer, your app’s current metadata (title, subtitle, and description) is filled in automatically. If you’d like to try something new, just type, or paste, your draft copy into the highlighted fields.

2- In the title and subtitle boxes, enter any variations you’re considering. The tool immediately scores every keyword you use, showing popularity and difficulty so you can see at a glance whether your wording will move the needle.

3- If you’ve integrated your app with MobileAction, your App Store Connect keyword list appears next. Type a draft list, and the Metadata Optimizer will highlight which of your keywords each one targets, making it easy to spot gaps or redundancies before you hit save in App Store Connect.

4- Scroll down to test a new description. Because descriptions change more often than titles or subtitles, this section lets you check, before publishing, how well your new copy aligns with the high‑value keywords you’re already tracking.

5- On the right side of the screen, the Shared Keywords panel shows every keyword you track anywhere in MobileAction. Review your rank, search popularity, and other metrics to decide whether any of these terms deserve a place in your metadata refresh.
