How do we calculate it?
The Difficulty is based on the Visibility Scores of the top-ranking apps and their keyword rankings tailored to each country.
What is the methodology?
A raw difficulty score is calculated from the top 10 apps and their visibility scores, respectively, based on their rankings. Once every keyword has been scored accordingly, they are given a certain difficulty score on a scale from 0-100 (100 being the most difficult keyword to rank at the top in that country) .
How often is the data updated?
We update difficulty score estimates daily.
What is the data coverage?
We cover both the App Store keywords and the Google Play Store keywords.
