The Similar Apps tool helps you understand how your app appears in the "You May Also Like" section on the App Store or the "Similar Apps" section on the Google Play Store. These placements influence discoverability and can directly impact your organic traffic.

This tool provides two key views:

  1. Apps that appear under your product page

  2. Apps where your app appears as a similar suggestion

Both views offer valuable insights into how your app is positioned across different markets and which competitors are most closely related to your app in the eyes of Apple and Google.

1. Apps listed under your product page (Similar Apps)

In this section, you can view the apps that are shown as similar to yours in the app stores. This is the “You May Also Like” section on the Apple App Store and “Similar Apps” on Google Play.

You can:

  • Track which apps are being recommended alongside yours

  • See how recommendations change by country and date

  • Identify rising competitors or category overlap
