Get a unified view of revenue across app stores with Revenue Snapshot
Revenue Snapshot brings together your app’s revenue data from the App Store and Google Play Store. No more juggling between platforms or endless spreadsheets with no visualization, this tool gives you one clear view of how sales, proceeds, and refunds are trending.
It’s designed for ASO Managers, linking visibility wins with monetization, UA, and App Marketing Analysts keeping an eye on campaign performance, preparing reports, and agencies looking to bring clients easy-to-understand visuals.
Before you begin
Revenue Snapshot is available once you connect at least one Analytics & Performance integration for App Store Connect or Google Play Console.
After integration, eligible apps appear for selection.
Here’s the metrics you’ll see on the tool after the integration:
- Sales (App Store): Total before Apple’s commission or refunds
- Revenue (Google Play Store): Total before Google’s commission or refunds
- Proceeds: Net amount after the store’s commission
- Refunds: Refunded value deducted from both Sales/Revenue and Proceeds
Keep in mind!
Data is displayed in USD and covers the past 12 months. You can select a single day or a custom date range. The App Store supports the current month (except for today), while the Google Play Store does not show the current month because of API limitations.
Get started
- First, go to ASO Intelligence > Revenue Snapshot.
- Then, select one app from your connected list and choose one or more countries for which that app is available.
- Afterward, pick your date range within the last 12 months; single-day checks are also supported.
- Select your granularity: daily, weekly, or monthly. This setting applies to both the line chart and the table.
Pro tip: Choose weekly granularity when reviewing multiple countries. It helps you catch unusual swings in proceeds or refunds without the noise of daily views or the smoothing of monthly views.
- Start exploring your results in the chart and table.
Here’s what you’ll see in each view:
Line chart. The chart displays trends for the selected countries and date range. Switching granularity helps you see short spikes, seasonal shifts, or longer-term changes. Use the legend to hide or show specific metrics for a cleaner read.
Table view. The table lists each period based on the granularity you selected and includes four columns: Date, Sales (the App Store) / Revenue (Google Play Store), Proceeds, and Refunds. It mirrors the same filters you set for the chart, so you can move between visual and tabular analysis without losing context. The full table is exportable for reporting.
Pro tip: Export your results to work in your own financial models, share with stakeholders, or attach to client reports. Exports reflect your current filters and granularity.
Keep in mind!
If an app is missing, double-check that the Analytics & Performance integration is complete and that the app has transactions in the chosen period.
Wrapping up
Revenue Snapshot replaces platform switching and manual exports with one page that’s ready to use. Whether you’re explaining a sudden revenue jump, tracking refunds, or preparing client-ready charts, this view gives you a straightforward way to connect growth and monetization.
