Simplify organic performance tracking with Organic Acquisition Dashboard
Get a high-level summary of your app’s organic growth across the App Store and Google Play Store.
The Organic Acquisition Dashboard gives you a high-level summary of your app’s organic growth across the App Store and Google Play Store. It brings together downloads, reviews, and keyword rankings into a single monthly view so ASO managers, marketers, agencies, and product teams can monitor visibility, performance, and user sentiment, without stitching together multiple reports.
Before you begin
Once you open the dashboard, if you see a landing page, it means both App Store Connect and Google Play Console integrations aren’t completed yet.
To access and populate the dashboard, you must complete the relevant integrations for each platform.
- iOS:
- Required: App Store Connect – Analytics & Performance
- Optional (for reviews): App Store Connect – Reviews Manager
- Android:
- Required: Google Play Console – Analytics & Performance
- Optional (for reviews): Google Play Console – Reviews Manager
You need at least one Analytics & Performance integration to view the dashboard. If the Reviews Manager integration is missing for a platform, the Review Analysis section will be hidden for that platform. After integration, you can proceed with whichever platform you’ve integrated by clicking the Go to Dashboard button.
Step-by-step guide to the Organic Acquisition Dashboard
- Go to the Organic Acquisition Dashboard.
- Select the app you want to analyze (only apps with completed integrations are shown).
- Choose one or more countries.
- Pick a month range that spans at least 2 months, up to the last 12 months (including the current month).
Note: Available metrics and visualizations update instantly based on your selections. Some behavior differs by platform (see details below).
At the top of the page you can review total & organic downloads. See cumulative totals across your selected months, an AI summary comparing the first vs. last month, and a monthly bar chart of total downloads.
Keep in mind: For Google Play Console, if All Countries isn’t selected, organic downloads are hidden; switch to All Countries to view them.
Scroll on the page to check the download source breakdown. For App Store Connect you’ll see Search and Browse; for the Google Play Console, you’ll see Search and Explore. Each source has its own monthly bars to tie shifts to metadata, creative, or featuring changes.
Keep in mind: For Google Play Console, this section appears only when All Countries is selected.
Next up you’ll see the review analysis section. Track monthly volume and quality with stacked bars (1–5 stars) and an overlaid average-rating line. An AI summary on the right explains changes over your range. App Store Connect follows your top-level country filter; while Google Play Console includes a language dropdown for this section.
Below reviews, you can view total ranked keywords by month to see how your coverage expands or contracts. Check average rank of app, a weighted score of your overall ranking footprint; lower is better because it reflects stronger top-tier visibility.
In this section you’ll also find the review ranking distribution across six tiers to understand how your terms stack up from top ranks to long tail. Next to it you can scan the movement summary, which compares tier distribution between your first and last months to highlight gains or losses in the most valuable tiers. Click the quick link below this graph to jump to ASO Report and inspect the actual terms.
- Keep in mind that the dashboard updates daily.
- You need at least one Analytics & Performance integration to access it.
- Review data appears only if Reviews Manager is integrated for that platform.
