When expanding your app to global markets, keyword localization is more than just translation; it’s about finding the right words that resonate with your audience in each country. That’s where the Keyword Translator tool comes in.

This tool allows you to instantly translate your app store keywords into 20+ languages, helping you localize your ASO efforts at scale without relying on manual research or generic translation tools.

At its core, the Keyword Translator helps you:

  • Translate your selected keywords into multiple languages with a single click

  • Explore how those translations appear across app stores globally

  • Monitor character count usage for each language-specific keyword set

  • Reduce the risk of low-performing keywords due to inaccurate or awkward translations

1- When the tool opens, start by choosing the source language you’re translating from and the target languages you’d like to translate into. This dropdown sits right at the top, so you can set it before you begin (and switch it anytime).

2- Type or paste the keyword you want to translate into the writing pad. If you have several terms, add them one per line to translate them all at once—no need to repeat the process for each word.

For example:

3-  Once you’ve entered your list, click Translate to generate equivalent keyword suggestions across all available languages. The dashboard now displays translations for each language side by side. Each row shows:

  • The target language and clickable country flags for regional nuances

  • The translated keywords

  • The character count used out of 100

Some languages naturally require more characters to convey the same idea. For example, the Indonesian translation may use up to 91/100 characters, while others like Chinese or Japanese may only use 10–15.

Use this information to:

  • Prioritize shorter, high-impact keywords

  • Remove duplicates or overly long phrases

  • Make sure nothing gets cut off by staying within the character limit—while still focusing on keywords that drive results

You’ll quickly notice how character length and word count vary across languages, especially when translating from English into more text-heavy languages like Turkish or Thai.
