Dig deep into keyword performance with ASO Report

ASO Report gathers every ranking signal in one place so you can see exactly which keywords lift your app, and how that picture changes over time.

 

Here how you can leverage the tool at its best;

1- When ASO Report opens, your own app is selected automatically. Use the app-selection bar at the top to add competitors or switch between different apps on the fly; this makes it easy to run side-by-side comparisons without leaving the page.

2- In the Distribution section, choose any date range that fits your analysis. A longer span gives you a big-picture view of how keyword performance evolves, while a shorter window helps you zero in on a product launch or seasonal event.

If you toggle App Updates on, release dates appear directly on the chart so you can spot whether ranking spikes—or dips—line up with version changes.

3- Just below the date controls, pick the reporting lens that matters most to your strategy. You can look at performance by overall ranking distribution, shift the view to search-volume impact, or focus on branded versus generic keyword splits to understand where your visibility really comes from.

4- A color-coded bar then shows how your keywords break down into top performers, mid-range terms, and those that still need work. By default you’re looking at the most recent day, but you can switch to a three-month average for a broader trend line that smooths out daily noise.

5- Scroll down for the full keyword list. Select any date, and ASO Report loads every term the app ranked for on that day, along with search volume, ranking chance, number of competing apps, and the exact position you held. It’s the fastest way to spot quick wins and hidden gaps in your coverage.

6- If you need to share or dig deeper, click the CSV button in the upper-right corner to export the entire table. The file is perfect for offline analysis, stakeholder reports, or a deeper pivot in Excel.
