Get a complete performance picture with Analytics Overview
The Analytics Overview dashboard brings your app’s App Store and Google Play Store performance data into one simple, visual report. It’s built for ASO Managers, UA Managers, and App Marketing teams who want to understand how visibility, conversion, and revenue metrics connect.
Instead of switching between store consoles or spreadsheets, Analytics Overview gives you a quick read on how your app is performing, helping you identify what’s driving growth and what might need attention.
Before you begin
To access Analytics Overview, your app must be connected through App Store Connect, Apple Ads or Google Play Console integration. Once the integration is complete, your eligible apps will appear automatically for selection.
Here are the key metrics displayed in the dashboard:
- App Store Total Download: Total downloads from all sources: search, browse, app & web referrers, app clip, notifications, institutional purchases, and more. Apple Ads integration is required to see accurate total downloads.
- Google Play Store Total Download: All downloads including explore, search, and ads and referrals as reported by Google.
- Apple Ads Download: The number of downloads attributed to your Apple Ads campaigns.
- Sales: The total amount of sales generated on the App Store before Apple’s commission and refunds.
- Proceeds (Revenue): Your net earnings after Apple’s commission is deducted.
- Average App Ranking: Your app’s average position across all ranked keywords within the chosen timeframe and countries.
- Average Rating: The overall average star rating your app received in the App Store.
- Total Ranked Keywords: The total number of keywords for which your app ranks in search results.
Keep in mind!
Data availability depends on your integration type and the selected store.
Get started
First, go to Store Analytics > Analytics Overview.
Then, select the app you want to review from your connected list.
Afterward, set your date range; the dashboard supports up to the last 12 months of data, and choose your countries to focus your view.
Once filters are applied, the dashboard automatically updates to show a summary for each section section displaying download, revenue, organic performance, conversion funnel overviews and total ranked keywords data.
Pro Tip: When comparing multiple countries, use weekly granularity to better spot regional performance trends without daily fluctuations.
For a deeper breakdown of each metric, head over to the related pages, such as Revenue Snapshot for detailed earnings insights, or Organic Acquisition Dashboard for keyword-level visibility and ranking performance.
Wrapping up
The Analytics Overview dashboard provides a simple, reliable view of your app’s installs, downloads, proceeds, and refunds across app stores. It helps you review your growth trends, monitor performance, and align your ASO and user acquisition goals with real results.
