# Understand Compass Impact activities and before-and-after analysis
The Activities Impact section shows UA activities for the selected app in a calendar format.
You can use this section to review when activities started, when they ended, how long they lasted, and how they relate to before-and-after KPI changes.
### Review the Activities Impact calendar
In the **Activities Impact** section, you can view all UA activities of the selected app in a calendar format.
The calendar shows:
- When each activity started
- When each activity ended
- The duration of each activity
In the top-left area, you can see the app name and selected storefront.
### Change the time range and select a date
Use the time range selector on the right to adjust the time period shown in the Activities Impact section.
When you add a time period to the activities chart, you’ll see the days in between as selectable. After selecting a date, you can see all activities that occurred on that specific day.
You can choose any activity to view its details.
### View activity details
Hover over any activity to view its details.
Clicking an activity takes you to the section below in Impact, where you can see the before-and-after effects of that specific day and the activities that happened on that day.
### Review before-and-after analysis
Scroll down to view the before-and-after analysis of the selected activity. This analysis shows the impact of the selected activity across different metrics.
The internal example shows how keyword rankings are affected:
- Category Rank
- Organic Visibility
- Apple Ads Visibility
- Ad Visibility
### View metric details
Hover over the chart to view more detailed information about the metrics.
