Read the performance metrics
Product Pages tool shows three columns of performance data for every app in both views. Together, they tell you how prominent each app’s product page presence is and how strong its overall paid visibility is.
The performance columns
![]()
- Impression Share: The share of product page impressions captured on the selected placement.
- Apple Ads Visibility Score: A measure of how visible the app is across Apple Ads overall, not just the product page placement.
- Category: The App Store category the app belongs to, useful for filtering down to competitors or adjacent products.
How to read the metrics together
- A high impression share with a high visibility score points to an app investing aggressively in both product page ads and the broader Apple Ads ecosystem.
- A high impression share with a lower visibility score can signal an app that is focused specifically on a few targeted product pages.
- Comparing impression share across apps in the same category shows who is competing most directly with you for product page placements.
