Read the custom product page detection details
CPP By Keyword shows several columns of detail for every custom product page detected on the keyword. Together, they tell you how popular the keyword is, which apps are tailoring their custom product pages for it, and how each custom product page performs.
The keyword headline
- Volume: The search popularity score for the keyword. Higher volume means more potential impressions for apps targeting the term.
The custom product page detection columns

- App: The app running the custom product page, with the default product page labeled separately when present.
- Creatives: A preview of the screenshots and promotional text used on the custom product page.
- Category: The App Store category the app belongs to.
- Impression Share: The share of impressions the custom product page captured for the keyword.
- First Seen Date: The earliest date the custom product page was detected running on the keyword.
- Last Seen Date: the most recent date the custom product page was detected running, so you can tell whether it is still active or has gone dark.
- URL: a direct link to open the custom product page in the App Store so you can view the full experience as a user would see it.
How to read the metrics together
- A high-volume keyword with only a few custom product pages detected can signal an underexploited opportunity.
- A high impression share on a single custom product page shows one app is dominating the paid placement for the keyword.
- Recently first-seen custom product pages on a high-volume keyword often indicate fresh competitive moves worth tracking.
