Promotional Content Overview

Promotional Content tool gives you a real-time view of how apps use Google Play Store promotional slots to engage users and highlight new content.

Use it to track live, ended, and available promotional events for specific apps and across entire categories, so you can study competitor campaign strategies and find the right moments to promote your own app.

Promotional Content is exclusive to the Google Play Store. If you would like to see App Store content, go to In-App Events.

How to use

Use the App Events tab to see live, ended, and available promotional content for a selected app, with event type, banner, and date range for each.

Add up to 9 apps to the App Events view and compare their promotional content side by side to spot differences in frequency, event type, and creative approach.

Use the Category Events tab to browse live and ended promotional content across a Google Play Store category and spot themes, timing patterns, and recurring campaigns.

Use the country selector, category selector, and date picker to scope any view to the market and time window you care about.
