Navigate to Benchmarks and apply filters
This article explains how to reach the Benchmarks section in MobileAction’s Apple Ads Campaign Management Platform and how to use the filters to focus the data on the markets, categories, and ad placements that matter to your campaigns.
Open the Benchmarks section
- Log in to your Apple Ads CMP account.
- Go to Insights Center in the side menu.
- Select Benchmarks.
The Benchmarks page opens with a default view that you can then narrow down using the filters.
Available filters
The Benchmarks page uses filters across different sections to control which data you see. The main filters are:
|
Filter |
What it controls |
|
Country |
One or more countries you want to see benchmark data for |
|
Category |
The app category the benchmark data is drawn from |
|
Ad placement |
A specific Apple Ads placement, such as Today tab, Search tab, search results, or Product pages |
|
Metric |
Which of the four core metrics (CPA, CPT, CR, TTR) is shown in visualizations like the world map |
|
Date range |
The time period the data is drawn from |
Note: You can select all countries or all ad placements if you need broader, market-wide data.
How filters affect the dashboard
When you apply a filter, every panel on the Benchmarks page updates to reflect the selection. This includes:
- The world map showing the distribution of the selected metric
- The AI-generated metrics summary that describes how each metric moved during the selected period
- The 90-day trend chart showing movement across CR, TTR, CPT, and CPA
- The category table showing CPA, CPT, TTR, and CR by category
- The Games sub-category table, when the Games category is relevant to your filter selection
For a full explanation of what each panel shows and how to interpret it, see Reading the Benchmarks dashboard.
