Integration with AppsFlyer

Integrating your selected MMP with SearchAds.com is a breeze! You can do it in a couple of simple steps. Let's look into how you can complete the integration process within minutes.

Getting the API Key from SearchAds.com

First of all, you need to obtain your API key from the SearchAds.com dashboard. Go to the SearchAds.com platform and locate the “Attributions” section at the end of the dashboard.

You'll find the API Key on this page right when you land on it. Click the “+Add new” button next to the app you have connected with the platform to start the integration process on the platform.

A 3-step pop-up will appear. Select AppsFlyer from the options listed on the pop-up that appears and click Next.

The next pop-up will provide instructions on how to set up the integration and also the API Key you need to use to complete the process.

After you complete the integration in AppsFlyer, remember to click on the "I have completed integration" checkbox and click the "Complete Integration" button.

To find the Campaign Group ID, simply go to the Apple Ads native platform and copy and paste it to the AppsFlyer platform.

To set up SearchAds.com on AppsFlyer:

  1. If required, activate Apple Ads integration:

    1. In AppsFlyer, from the side menu, select Collaboration > Partner Marketplace.

    2. Search for and select the partner. You're directed to the partner configuration page.

    3. From the Integration tab, turn on Activate partner.

    4. Click Save Integration.

  2. In AppsFlyer, configure SearchAds.com:

    1. In AppsFlyer, from the side menu, select Collaboration > Active Integrations.

    2. Search for SearchAds.com (by MobileAction).
      The list of marketing partners is displayed.

    3. Select SearchAds.com (by MobileAction).

    4. Turn on Activate Partner.

    5. Enter the API key in the api_key field.

    6. Enter SearchAds.com's Apple Ads Campaign ID. Enter the digits (numbers) only.

    7. Click Save.

Configuring in-app event postbacks

To configure postback that should be sent to SearchAds.com upon in-app events:

  1. Enter the api_key.

  2. Turn on In-app events postback.

  3. Select Send all events.

  4. Under Send revenue, select Values&Revenue.

  5. Click Save Integration.

Keep in mind!

As described in the previous steps, you should enter your API Key into two different entry boxes (for general settings and postback configuration). If you don't, the integration will not be completed.

As soon as in-app events start coming through AppsFlyer, you will also be able to see them on the SearchAds.com dashboard.

Remember to repeat these steps for every app you want to integrate.

Once your events start flowing, you will be notified by email.
