Integrating with Tenjin

Integrating your selected MMP with MobileAction helps you receive more relevant data for your analysis, and it is easier and quicker than you think!

Integrating with Tenjin takes just a couple of steps. Let's take a closer look at these steps and how you can complete your integration in minutes.

Getting the API Key from MobileAction

First of all, you need to obtain your API key from the SearchAds.com dashboard. Go to the SearchAds.com platform and locate the “Attributions” section at the end of the dashboard.

You'll find the API Key on this page right when you land on it. Click the “+Add new” button next to the app you have connected with the platform to start the integration process on the platform.

Then, select your MMP from the options listed on the pop-up that appears and click Next.

The next pop-up will provide instructions on how to set up the integration and the API Key you need to use to complete the process.

After you complete the integration on Tenjin, remember to click on the "I have completed integration" checkbox and click the "Complete Integration" button.

Entering the API Key on Tenjin

Log in to your Tenjin account by clicking “Login” in the upper right corner.

1. Add MobileAction as a marketing channel to Tenjin by going to ConfigureChannels and then clicking on "Add Channel"

2. Then, go to Configure > Apps. Here, select the app and click on the "Callbacks" tab.
3. Under the callbacks tab, select "MobileAction" from the dropdown. 
4. Enter your API key from the MobileAction campaign management platform and turn on the callback toggles as needed.

 After completing the process on Tenjin, please confirm that you completed the integration (see the step above where you copied your API key). As soon as in-app events start coming through Tenjin, you will also be able to see them on the MobileAction campaign management platform.
 

Remember to repeat these steps for every app you want to integrate. Once your events start flowing, you will be notified by email.
