How to use Daily Country Ranking in Category Rankings

Use Daily Country Ranking to see where your app ranks across countries on a selected day.

This view helps you understand country-level category performance. You can use it to identify strong markets, markets that need attention, and countries where your app may be unranked.

When to use Daily Country Ranking

Use Daily Country Ranking when you want a global snapshot of your app’s category ranking.

This view is useful when you want to answer questions like:

Which countries does my app rank well in?
Which countries need more attention?
Where is my app unranked?
How does category performance differ by market?

Daily Country Ranking is best for country-level analysis. If you want to track ranking changes over time in one market, use Daily Ranking History instead.

Select your ranking view

Before reviewing the table, use the filters at the top of the page to define the ranking context you want to analyze.

You can select:

Ranking type: Free, Grossing, or Paid
Time view: Hourly or Daily
Device: iPhone or iPad
Date: the specific day you want to analyze

These filters help you focus the country ranking data on the exact ranking type, device, date, and category context you need.

Review country ranking groups

When you select All Countries, Daily Country Ranking groups countries by ranking level.

These groups include:

Ranked #1
Ranked #2-5
Ranked #6-10
Ranked #11-100
Ranked #101-500

This grouping helps you quickly understand where your app has stronger category presence and where it may need more attention.

For example, you may see that your app ranks highly in some countries but is unranked in others. You can use the filters at the top of the page to compare how this changes across Free, Grossing, or Paid rankings, different categories, devices, and dates.

Review exact rankings by country

You can scroll further to see the exact ranking of your app in each country under the selected category.

Use this section when you need a more detailed country-by-country view. This table can help you review specific markets instead of only looking at ranking groups.

Use country-level ranking insights

Country-level ranking details can help you evaluate:

Localization performance
Regional campaign impact
Category fit in international stores
Markets where your app may have stronger growth potential
Markets where your app may need more attention

Use these insights together with your broader app and marketing analysis before deciding where to invest more effort.

Export data and create alerts

You can export the data for reporting or stakeholder updates.

You can also set alerts to monitor significant drops or gains in rank. Setting alerts can help you follow important country-level ranking changes over time.
