How to use AI Review Reply

Use AI Review Reply to filter app reviews and generate AI-powered replies.

This article explains how to open AI Review Reply, select an app, filter reviews, generate a reply, and regenerate another version if needed.

Before you begin

Your app must be connected through at least one of these integrations:

  • App Store Connect – Reviews Manager
  • Google Play Console – Reviews Manager

After one of these integrations is active, your connected apps automatically appear in AI Review Reply.

A few things to know before you start:

  • You can filter App Store reviews by country.
  • You can filter Google Play Store reviews by language.
  • AI replies are generated in the same language as the original review.
  • You can add up to five example review–reply pairs per app, but this is optional.

Instructions

1. Open AI Review Reply

  1. Go to App Intelligence.
  2. Click AI Review Reply.
  3. Review the list of connected apps.

2. Choose an app

  1. Select the app you want to work on.
  2. Choose a country if you are viewing App Store reviews.
  3. Choose a language if you are viewing Google Play Store reviews.
  4. Set a date range to focus on recent reviews or reviews from a specific period.

After you set your filters, matching reviews appear on the page.

3. Filter your reviews

Use the filters on the left side of the page to narrow your review list.

You can use:

  • Rating filter to focus on reviews by score.
  • Keyword filter to find reviews that mention a specific feature, bug, or keyword.
  • Reviews filter to track which reviews still need your attention.

For example, you can use the Keyword filter to group reviews about similar topics, such as login issues or subscription questions.

4. Generate a reply

  1. Select the review you want to respond to.
  2. Click Generate Reply.
  3. Choose a tone:
    • Professional
    • Friendly
    • Empathetic
    • Apologetic
    • Grateful
  4. Review the AI-generated reply.

MobileAction AI writes the reply based on the original review and the tone you selected.

5. Edit or regenerate a reply

After the reply is generated, you can review it before using it. You can:

  • Edit the reply right away.
  • Click Regenerate to create another version.
  • Regenerate the reply in the same tone.
  • Choose a different tone and regenerate the reply.

Note: The reply is generated in the same language as the original review.
