How to manage AI Smart Bidding setups

This article shows you how to review, filter, edit, export, and control AI Smart Bidding setups from the AI Smart Bidding table.

Before you begin

  • To use AI Smart Bidding, you need access to AI Smart Bidding in your MobileAction CMP plan.
  • AI Smart Bidding can only be applied to campaigns and ad groups running search results ads.
    For details, see About AI Smart Bidding.

Instructions

Open the AI Smart Bidding table

  1. Go to MobileAction CMP > Smart Bidding.
  2. Review the table that lists all AI Smart Bidding setups in one view. For each setup, you can see the strategy, goal and target, attribution settings, labels, and current status.

Filter setups

Use filters to focus on the setups you want to manage.

  • Use the Target Strategy filter to focus on:
    • Target CPI
    • Target CPA
    • Target CPG
    • Target ROAS
  • Filter by Status and Labels:
    • Use Status to quickly see setups that are running, paused, or stopped.

    • Use Labels to review setups based on your naming or structure (for example, Brand, Competitor, or market-specific groupings). You can search for a label, select multiple labels, and click Apply to filter the table.

  • Filter by Level to find what you’re looking for more easily.

Export AI Smart Bidding data

  1. Click Export Smart Bidding Data at the top of the page to download the Smart Bidding table data.

Update target values or export selected setups

Each row includes a checkbox so you can select multiple setups at once.

  1. Select one or more rows.
  2. Use the action bar that appears at the bottom of the page:
    1. Update Target Values for the setups you selected
    2. Export to CSV for just the selected setups
    3. Cancel to clear your selection

Pro tip: Use filters first, then multi-select. For example, filter by Target Strategy = Target CPA and Status = Running, then select only the setups you want to adjust in one pass.

Keep in mind! 

Multi-select actions support target value updates and export. Status controls like run, pause, or stop are managed per setup from the table.

Edit an existing setup

From the table, you can edit key parts of an existing AI Smart Bidding setup, including its name, the selected portfolio, and the target value.

Keep in mind!

Strategy type and applied level can’t be changed after creation, so it’s worth taking a moment to pick the right setup structure from the start.

Control setup status

You can control status directly from the table:

  • Pause to temporarily stop Smart Bidding while keeping your setup.
  • Run to reactivate a paused setup.
  • Stop to end the setup and reset its progress.

When reactivating or stopping, the platform will show a confirmation message so you know exactly what will happen before you proceed.
