Enable Generative AI Features consent
The AI Assistant requires the Generative AI Features consent to be granted on your account. This article explains what the consent covers, who can grant it, and the two ways to enable it.
What this consent covers
Generative AI Features is an account-level consent, not an AI Assistant-specific one. It also governs other generative AI features in the platform, such as the AI summary sections on the Overview and Benchmarks pages. AI features stay off until it is granted.
Full details are published on our AI privacy principles page: https://www.mobileaction.co/ai-privacy-principles/
Who can grant it
Only account admins can enable or disable this consent. Users without an admin role cannot grant it themselves.
Enable it from Settings
- Go to Settings > User Details > Data preferences.

- Grant the Generative AI Features consent.
Enable it from the Ask AI window
- If consent has not been granted yet, clicking Ask AI opens a consent prompt instead of the chat.
- If you are an admin, tick the consent checkbox in the prompt. The window switches to the chat automatically, with no refresh needed.
If you are not an admin
Non-admin users see an informational message explaining that an account admin must grant consent. There is no self-service option; ask an admin on your account to enable it using either path above.
