# Discover keywords by app
Use this flow to generate keyword recommendations based on a specific app and country.
This article explains how to start an app-focused keyword discovery session. If you want to start from seed keywords instead, see [Discover keywords by keyword](https://helpcenter.mobileaction.co/en/discover-keywords-by-keyword?hsLang=en).
### Before you start
Keep the following in mind before you begin:
- You can only select apps from your own account. Competitor apps are not available in this flow.
- The storefront dropdown shows only the countries where your selected app is available, not all Apple Ads storefronts.
- You can add up to 10 optional seed keywords to guide the recommendations.
- Storefront selection is limited to one storefront per session.
- Leaving the page, refreshing the browser, or navigating to another module will reset your session. Keywords already saved to a list are not affected.
### How to use it
1. Open the AI Keyword Planner from the left navigation menu.
2. On the landing page, click Start with app under the Discover by App card.
3\. Select the app you want to generate recommendations for.
4\. Select a storefront. The dropdown shows the countries where your app is available.
5\. **Optional:** Add up to 10 seed keywords to help focus the recommendations. Press Enter or add a comma to separate each keyword.
6\. Click Find Keywords. The system generates your keyword recommendations and opens the Keyword List page.
### What you see on the Keyword List page
The Keyword List page shows two tabs: Keywords you saved and Keyword recommendations (the system's suggestions).
Each keyword is displayed with the following metrics: Account Status, Ranking, Paid Activity, Volume, Difficulty, and Ranked Apps.

### What you can do from here
Once you have your results, select the keywords you want to act on. A bulk action bar appears at the bottom of the table when at least one keyword is selected.
You can:
- Save keywords to a list
- Add keywords to an ad group
- Add keywords as negative keywords
- Download keywords as a CSV
You can select a maximum of 30 keywords at a time for the Save, Add to Ad Group, and Add as Negative Keyword actions. The Download action supports selecting all results up to 300 keywords.
### After you finish
After saving keywords, you can view them in the Saved Keywords tab or return to the landing page to start a new discovery session. To learn more about managing your saved keywords, see Manage your saved keyword lists.
